Somehow this whole semester for Engineering Mathematics 4B i only have 1 lecturer , Mdm “Sibu”, unfortunately from the minute she steps into class she cant seem to stop talking and she demands her students to do some really extreme stuff….read the following post in BB

Dear students,
We are about to start Week 5 of our 14 week programme. And my analysis from the Attendance sheet shows a lack of consistency in attendance for tutorials especially.Week tutorials show only 58% attendance. There are two of you who have clashes with another subject during Thursday tutorials(I had asked you to drop the subject) and some others who are not very regular in the tutorials. This announcement is to warn you that you are not going in a steady manner with respect to your studies of HMS 214.I have to warn you that there is a high chance for failure if you guys continue with this attitude of absenteeism during tutorials and I wont take any responsibility for your failure.BUT IF YOU ARE A PERSON WITH GREAT SELF INITIATIVE , I DONT MIND YOU MISSING CLASSES.AND YOU MAY PROVE YOURSELF THRO THE TESTS/EXAMS.
This subject requires a lot of attention and practice since all the topics are very new to you.
So next time you think of bunking classes, think twice.I dont want to see any heartbreaks at the time of Exam results.
For Your Best,
Seibu.

With the 100+ students (we were having our test with another class) just waiting for the bloody test papers to be distributed by her row by row took off another 10 minutes so the test ended up somewhere at 7p.m.

Sashirekha a/p Appalasamy, if u actually find your way here and read this blog, im going to be nice enough to tell you that either you resign this semester or i am going to throw everything i can at you to get you fired as a dishonorable unprofessional lecturer

There’s a certain lecturer who teaches in swinburne swk who imho does not actually know what she is teaching……………it seems that her masters degree and degree from a certain public university in Skudai, Johor was either earned through some sort of weird manner or bought

Engineering Mathematics is already a complicated subject, so if a lecturer makes a very elementary mistake, such as being unable to correctly define positive and negative for her “high class” 3d diagrams b4 she starts explaining it, how can a student learn anything at all if the student isn’t even sure where positive and negative is…………………..

Last semester, our whole class handed in a whole stack of assignments for her assigned tutorial questions, she said do it all and hand it in………..we never saw our tutorials again (we suspected that she sent them to be recycled for extra $)…one of the students in our class actually had a look through the assignments which she supposedly marked…she seemed to have given marks based on how big the stack was, not the content inside…so very swt la….

On Saturday 7th April 2007 she attempted to teach a MATLAB class (for reader information MATLAB is a software used to plot graphs and do mathematical stuff using a computer) and she actually managed to mess up so bad and do the first mistake in programming, using terms that are undefined before she used them zzz…the mistake was so simple it took 5 minutes for me to actually recover from the pure shock inflicted by such a monstrous error………….and im supposed to spend ANOTHER BLOODY semester WITH HER OMG WTF i am so going to die before i finish year 2 @@”
