Shock troopers seem to be decent at killing vehicles, but scorpion tanks can still crush them………….have to see what other units can complement them

Based on feedback from Master Yu Cheng (who has finished both GDI and NOD campaigns) apparently the Scrin race, which seems really tough when used by Brutal AI, are not as strong when you use them yourselves…..your units are considerably weaker and die very easily compared to Brutal units

Currently I have noticed that scrin has decent ground units and vehicles(combined with buzzers) and pretty good long-range air units. Another boon to the race of scrin is that they do not need tiberium silos (alien free storage technology?), so they save a bit in the long run

Nod’s principle is “Be fast, be invisible.” They have the most stealth
units in the game, and when played properly, the enemy will (literally) never
see you coming(maybe, if the enemy is not that smart).

After playing through some of the GDI campaign (got it from a friend), it seems that GDI have the most powerful ground force in the entire game with mammoth tanks providing true ground to ground (gg?) firepower and have the ability to upgrade themselves with anti-air railguns, their air force seems kind of weak in comparison to NOD Vertigo bombers and are very weak compared to Scrin’s deadly air units.

Garrisoning infantry in buildings is not a good thing against GDI’s grenadiers, one squad can clear one whole building with their RPGs

Scrin

The deadly Scrin invaders are the cause of the Tiberium infestation on Earth, and have come to reap their bounty. They’re played a bit differently than the other factions, and so will require a bit of practice to get used to.

Brotherhood of Nod

The Brotherhood of Nod is used to sticking to the shadows; it’s had to do so for a long time to avoid the glare of the GDI. Now that they’re ready to burst back onto the world, they’re building up a new army with new strengths and weaknesses.

Factions

You’ll probably discover a lot of the nuances of the different factions in Tiberium Wars as you play the game, but here’s a basic rundown on the differences between the three factions.

General Tips

Smash Them Bridges

Plenty of the maps in CNC3 feature bridges. These rugged devices will let you move your units past otherwise impassable chasms, but they can also allow your enemy’s forces to attack you, as well.
